Crash Analysis

In 2019 and 2020, we partnered with a student team from the University of Michigan School of Information to develop analysis tools for better understanding pedestrian and bicycle crashes involving vehicles in Detroit. We believed this analysis would justify greater investments in safer street designs.

Thanks to the team (Sulayman, Brendan, Sophia, and Brian) for putting such a substantial amount of effort into this project and generating these super interesting map analysis tools — all in spite of trying to work as a team during COVID-19.
