gximage2?o=9369678&l=v4The Detroit Greenways Coalition has been very successful in getting new biking and walking trails built across the city. You've likely seen the changes over the recent years -- and the progress is accelerating. We've been involved all along the way, encouraging and helping the city, county, state and others to do more.

We've helped write grants that have brought in tens of millions of dollars for bike and trail projects. However, these grants cannot fund our day to day work. That's where people like you can step in to help keep this momentum.

Whatever you can give with be helpful and appreciated.

Buy and Sell on eBay

You can Support the Detroit Greenways Coalition on eBay when you sell on eBay through the eBay Giving Works program. Just designate our organization to receive 10-100% of your final sale price the next time you list something great.

Did you know that charity listings often get more bids and higher prices than regular eBay listings? Boost your sales and support our critical work while you’re at it! Plus eBay gives back to you too, with a fee credit on your basic selling fees.

Kroger

We are part of the Kroger Community Rewards program. If you register with us, every time you swipe your Plus Card shop at Kroger helps us build more trails in Detroit. Our organization number is IG545.

Let me have the direct account number of your organization (no Amazon, no Ebay, no data selling of an kind), and I will be glad to donate.

I think it would be great for Detroit to have a green ring with a cycle trail (no Asphalt please). It would also be great, if Detroit could link all of its parks wth green-ways, But I feel it is also important to secure generous cycle space on all thoroughfares in order to promote utility cycling. Good luck!

Hello,

My name is Matt and I’m an advocate working out of Lighthouse in Pontiac. I work with individuals who are exiting homelessness or a housing crisis into positive housing in the tri-county area. I was wondering if your organization had any programs where community members were able to receive donated bikes.

If so, I was wondering about eligibility and how I could support a client who was interested in going through this process.

I appreciate any information that you’re able to provide.

Best,
Matt

We aren’t aware of any programs like that in Pontiac, but one is starting up in Detroit. We will follow up via email.
