How do In buy a map of the JLG?
The City of Detroi tshould be releasing a map of the updated route in the coming months. As the trail gets built, we’ll be updating our online map and printed maps. https://map.detroitgreenways.org
Look at the review volume 15 no. 14 in Hamtramck, city hall insider April 7 they talk about The Joe Lewis Greenaway.
No official completion date has been announced. Additional grant funding is required and that’s not something the city has control over.
The trail that goes through Highland Park is it going to 6 mile or off street between the concrete crushing place and Ryder Trucking? The other map has it staying off street, which would be more interesting.
It’s going to remain off street. The reason early maps show it going to McNichols/6 Mile were due to the railroad crossing. We didn’t have approval for that crossing and funders wanted to see an alternative route. Since then, the city got the railroad crossing approved.

Are you referring to the public commenter at Hamtramck City Council that said, “Parking
is primary, not bicycles?” http://www.thehamtramckreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/HR-4_7_USE.pdf
